Whilst the Farmhouse and its location were what attracted us so much back in 2002, and indeed many lovely holidays were spent there, it was the decision to build a swimming pool in 2008 that has really turned Paradise into such a special place.

This area of the gardens have the most wonderful and uninterrupted views across the valley and over to the distant Monts de Blond (the blond mountains – called so because of how the light reflects on the stone making them always look light). And as this was the place we found ourselves most often sitting in the evenings and watching the amazing sunsets , it was therefore the obvious place to choose for the pool.

Thankfully the trauma of the actual building of the pool and the total destruction of the gardens are now a distant memory and have been replaced with wonderful memories of arriving tired and exhausted, pouring a glass of wine and watching the sky turn crimson as the sun dips behind the distant hills. We now have the most wonderful place in which to escape from the rest of the world and try to enjoy as much time here as we can squeeze into our busy schedules.

So whilst the area and the house offer a traditional taste of rural French life – you just have to walk through the gardens to discover this haven of luxury and tranquility in which to completely relax and unwind.

To complete the perfect experience we have built a pool chalet with a changing room and toilet, kitchen area and indoor seating in which to escape should you want to get out of the sun for a little while. Whilst adjacent to this is the terrace with al-fresco dining area, all weather sofas and of course pool site sun loungers in which to doze away the day in complete heaven.

The pool is heated making it possible to enjoy it as early and late into the season as possible – so from early May to the end of October it is possible to enjoy the luxury of swimming in your own private pool.
